几周前我打算申请约恩苏大学的一个有关sociology的一个International Master’s Degree Programme。因为我借了几本有关的coursebooks来看了, 发现自已对social sciences挺感兴趣的。这个专业是两年的全英教学, 主要是搞research。申请时不用入学考试, 换之是要交一篇约10页纸的硕士毕业论文的research plan。虽然还有几个月的时间准备, 但我已经开始着手准备了, 怕明年初芬兰语课开始后没有时间写。
但上周与老公商量后, 我改变了计划。 我决定明年先专心学习芬兰语然后找个地方实习。后年再申请大学的学习。因为我担心如果明年秋天我开始去大学读书的话, 芬兰语的学习会受很大影响。还有就是听说如果芬兰语课结束后不去找地方实习，以后就没机会了。
我亲身体会到作为新移民, 想要融入这里的社会, 学好芬兰语是关键。以前在中国的时候, 老公经常跟我诉说, 由于语言不通, 经常感到frustrated。 现在我在芬兰有同样的感受。以前比较独立的我, 现在却感觉自已又”盲”, 又”聋”, 又”哑”, 几乎什么事都要依赖老公: 邮件看不明白, 芬兰语的电视节目听不懂, 和爷爷奶奶聊天时要老公翻译。 还有我发觉自已不可以随心地去购物, 虽然家不远处有个小超市, 但是如果要买衣服之类的东西的话, 就不得不需要老公开车载我去市中心了。所以决定迟点和老公搬去市中心住一年半载, 因为我想减少对老公的依赖, 让自已更快地过渡, 融入社会。
所以全心学芬兰语和考驾照是我明年的大计划。
